I am torn between having built in bunk beds (which I think would open up the room so much more) or purchasing a bunk bed unit (that is not as permanent). I will be clear that I love our home and would clearly make it my forever home if life worked like that, but it doesn't.
I thought I would share some of my obsessions...
Lonny.com This is hands down my favorite...would you die to have this room? |
http://www.nurserynotations.com/2012/05/bunk-room-friday-orange-bunks-in.html I am very partial to this one (probably because it is orange). |
Lonny.com This would totally work with the space we have upstairs. |
landofnod.com Back to the traditional...but I like it. |

Lonny.com Who would not want this room? |
Animal head inspirations...hmmm, I wonder who that could be for? |
Landofnod.com Think of mixing up the bedding...who says it must match? |
Landofnod.com Love the simplicity of this bedding (with a yellow wall, maybe?) |
http://www.etsy.com/listing/122130058/yellow-and-white-chevron-teepee-yellow?ref=market This would be the perfect get-a-way |
http://www.cheekymonkeyhome.com/detail.php?cat=throw-pillows&coll=sil&unit=02&item=1 Very sweet. |
http://www.etsy.com/listing/128159068/woodland-creatures-collection-hand-block $70 for 5?! That is a steal! |
www.serenaandlily.com Gotta love a classic. |
www.serenaandlily.com I don't think that these would work in the room with all of the windows...but the detail on these makes me happy. |

I love the details on the window treatments in the last picture and the tee pee!
