When I was pregnant with Wip I would listen to
The Best Day by Taylor Swift and sob (leave it to those pregnancy hormones). I would sit and think about how I would try my hardest to give my children "the best day" always. Yesterday (even though our littlest man was sick) I had "the best day" with Wip. We played in the leaves, kicked around the soccer ball, and attempted to jump rope (he does not have that one figured out yet). At one point we were "throwing the leaves up to the sky" and he ran over with his arms open wide and gave me the biggest hug and said "I love you mommy". It was not prompted, was not forced, and was not fake. It was a moment I will cherish forever.
