First ever sighting of Ho Ho

This picture needs no caption

What a difference a year makes!

Just hanging out
What a difference a year makes!  Last year Wip was terrified of Santa (a.k.a Ho Ho).  This year he was asking him for a horse and a goat.  Santa said he would see what he could do.  Thank goodness for Ernie the Elf who reports back to Santa every night on Wip's behavior (if only we could keep Ernie year round:).

I am thankful for....

Hard Days Night

Monday, November 21, 2011

It is not always rainbows and butterflies at the Mulloy house.  Today was a really bad day.  It all started when Wip woke up last night and got sick (again, again, and again).  I decided to keep him home from school.  The morning started with "I want to watch Lion King", followed by "No, I can't watch Lion King".  "No I can't drink water", "I want some water, please".  The boy that could not make up his mind.

Duncan had his six month check up and all was good (at least I hope so, Wip was being so bad in the doctors office that I was concentrating on him for most of the visit).  Our poor little man had shots (including flu shot) which just put him in a funk for the rest of the day.

On top of whiny and fussy children, I had to do laundry the entire day and try and get the awful smell out of the upstairs (thank you Febreeze!).

Our day ended with the lifelong debate "I want McDonald's" to "No I want Chick-fil-A".  The one thing that was not debated was "I want foo fries" (cracks me up everytime).  McDonald's won.  Wip only had 4 foo fries and then called it a night.  Poor doodlebug....I hope he is better tomorrow!

2011 St. Matthews Episcopal Church Pageant Rehearsal Schedule
The title should be Duncan, Baby of the World

So special the moment he entered the world

We all knew that Duncan was the baby of the world when he made his entrance in May.  Looks like other folks are recognizing it too!  I got an exciting email from our church last week asking if Duncan could be baby Jesus in the Christmas pageant.  The rehearsal schedule is pretty grueling, so if we seem a little out of touch, you will know that it is because we are at practice:)

First Haircut

Saturday, November 19, 2011

What do you mean my hair is out of control?

Hey Bro

Waiting patiently

In an effort to get rid of the "Donald Trump" combover I took Duncan to have his first haircut today.  He was an angel.  And while the customer service was not great, she did a good job and making my little man look handsome.

Wish List

Thursday, November 17, 2011

This is exactly what the title says a "wish list".  We do not expect (nor do we really need) any of this stuff.  It sure is fun to put together!

1.  How cute would this be in his room?

2.  Even though he is kind of over Cars (ok well maybe his mom is:), I thought this looked pretty cool!

3.  A membership for ArtSparks would be great for us to have something to do in the colder months ahead...brrrrr!

4.  We have plenty of food.  Now we need something to cook it in.

5.  His Poppy can teach him how to play the banjo!

6.  Playroom seating!

7.  Any of this stuff would be great for the art table.

8.  Get it while you can!  Vineyard Vines is no longer going to make children's clothing.  We love everything from Vineyard Vines (especially the boxers!).  Guess we need to be potty trained first.

9.  For the philanthropy instructor in me:)

1.  How precious would it be to have Wip and Duncan in matching pjs for Santa? I thought these were cute!

2.  Love the bold prints from Zutano.  Better go with a 12M because he is currently 18 pounds!

3.  Playroom seating!

4.  Playroom storage

Air Hockey

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

After a nap on the floor this afternoon

We met up with John for a little air hockey

We are hoping to get the same picture when the boys are sixteen

Baby Hunter

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

We are so blessed to welcome Hunter Elwood Parsons to our family today.  Wip called Aunt Kelly to sing "happy birthday" to Hunter.

Saturday Morning

Saturday, November 12, 2011

Duncan had some blueberries this morning.  So far he has tried squash, zucchini, blueberries, carrots, and sweet potatoes.  There is nothing this boy will not eat.

Wip was busy making his parade.

Blueberry face

Proud of his parade
Just a typical Saturday morning at the Mulloy house.

Who's your daddy?

Dagny's Birthday Party

Thursday, November 10, 2011

Dagny is the cute little tiger

Hitting the bat

We had a great time at Dagny's 3rd Birthday Party on October 30, 2011.  Not only did we meet new friends and eat cupcakes, but we also got to whack a pinata!  Wip went around all day saying "I hit a bat with a bat, howabout that?"
